• February 20 - 23, 2025: Mexico Golf Open at VidantaWorld

The 2025 edition of the Mexico Open will take place from February 20 to 23 at VidantaWorld, conveniently located in Nuevo Vallarta, just a short drive from Marival Distinct Residences & Spa - Handwritten Collection. Participants will get the chance to take on the challenges of the Vidanta Vallarta Course, designed by Greg Norman. The 18-hole, Par 73 course is set along the Ameca River with views of the Sierra Madre mountains from every hole. • March 2025: Vinos con Causa

Translating to “Wines for a Cause” in English, the Vino con Causa event takes place at Mozzamare Beach Club to raise funds for the Marival Foundation. This year, funds raised will go toward building a community center in the town of Villas Miramar here in the state of Nayarit. Keep an eye out on the Marival Foundation website to see when tickets become available to this beautiful and heartwarming beachside wine event.

• April 5, 2025: GranFondo Riviera Nayarit

Cycling enthusiasts will gather for GranFondo Riviera Nayarit, an exciting race through the scenic landscapes of the region. Marival Emotions and Marival Distinct serve as host hotels due to their close proximity to the event, making them ideal accommodations for participants. For those seeking post-race relaxation, Armony offers a serene retreat to unwind after the challenge.

• June 13 - 15, 2025: Bachata Festival

Get ready to dance the weekend away at the annual Bachata Festival, hosted at Marival Emotions. This high-energy event includes workshops led by professional dance pairs, captivating shows, thrilling competitions, and unforgettable night and pool parties. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a beginner, this festival promises a rhythm-filled getaway in Nuevo Vallarta.

• October 2025: Ironman 70.3

Athletes from around the world will gather for the Ironman 70.3, with Marival Emotions as the official host hotel. The competition kicks off from the resort, and the awards ceremony will take place here as well. A special offer will be available for participants, with tickets going on sale soon. • December 2025: Whale Watching Season

Every winter, majestic humpback whales make their way to the warm, protected waters of Banderas Bay to mate and nurture their young. This breathtaking natural event transforms the bay into one of the world’s premier whale-watching destinations. The official whale-watching season runs from December 20 to March 23.

• Valentine’s Day

Love will be in the air on February 14, 2025 at all of our resorts. Marival Emotions will feature cocktail events and live music, while Marival Distinct guests can enjoy a romantic sunset dinner by the pool and a memorable cocktail party at Mozzamare Beach Club. Take advantage of the romance-filled adults-only ambiance at Armony to experience nature together with nature walks, couple’s massages in the stunning Mélange World Spa, or a private dinner with an ocean view.

• Earth Hour on March 29

All three Marival Resorts properties will join in with the rest of the world for Earth Hour, turning off our lights at 8:00 pm. Marival Emotions and Marival Distinct will have Earth Hour celebrations at this time, with fire shows, live music, Latin rhythms, kids activities, and family-friendly games. Armony guests can celebrate the earth all day with signature cocktails plus our incredible eco activities like yoga, eco walks, and sustainable cuisine; in the evening, our Night and Light Dinner will feature a live jazz band.

• Easter

Families at Marival Emotions and Marival Distinct will love our kid-friendly Easter Sunday activities, with our Easter egg hunt, Marival Emotions and Marival Distinct, Easter egg hunt, shows for kids, and other special surprises.

Armony guests will find an array of details throughout Easter Week (April 13 - 19) with our Armony Connections program, focusing on a week of relaxation, mediation, and seasonal menus at Divum, Essence, and Blend.

• Children’s Day (Mexico holiday) on April 30

One of Mexico’s biggest annual holidays! Our two family friendly resorts, Marival Emotions and Marival Distinct, will go all out with PartyLand. PartyLand will be created especially for kids, with bounce houses, music, snacks, and more. At Marival Emotions, we’ll end Children’s Day with an evening family show in the theater.

• Mother’s Day on May 10

Each of our resorts will celebrate the mothers in our lives with different and unique events. Marival Emotions is hosting a Mother’s Day cocktail party complete with live music and prizes. At Marival Distinct, families can indulge in a Mother’s Day beach lunch at Mozzamare Beach Club with a live Cuban band, a mimosa station and more. Our adults-only resort, Armony, gives mothers the opportunity to find true relaxation with its Pacha Mama Mother’s Day specialties, such as mom wellness packages at Mélange World Spa featuring steam baths with local herbs, and an evening of gourmet bites and Golden Hour Margaritas at The Vent and Vista Point.

• Dad’s Weekend on June 16 and 17

Marival Emotions will host a weekend of action-packed activities, including a beach volleyball competition, a beach soccer tournament, and an exciting Casino Night. Marival Distinct will bring families together with a Beach BBQ featuring fun sports tournaments for dads and kids to enjoy. At Armony, fathers will be treated to a “Mex Dad” Special Dinner and a La Brise Buffet experience; throughout the weekend, guests can sip on All-Day Cocktails like the “Gone Fishing” and “Golf Everyday” mocktail, while the Health & Mezcal event at 8:00 pm offers a mix of wellness and indulgence.

• 4th of July (USA Independence Day)

A star-spangled celebration awaits with lively entertainment, delicious food, and festive fun. Marival Emotions and Marival Distinct will each throw an American Party, complete with live music, rock bands, and plenty of food, drinks, and entertainment. At Armony, the Stars & Stripes celebrations will feature American-themed buffets, an American BBQ, exclusive wine pairings, an evening party, and an after-party to keep the festivities going.

• September 15 (Mexican Independence Day)

Throughout Mexico, we go big for our Independence Day every September 15. Marival Emotions will feature vibrant Mexican fairs and fiestas, piñatas, mariachi performances, and a nightclub party. Marival Distinct will transform into a Mexican cantina, offering classic snacks and desserts, live mariachi, margarita mixology, traditional fair games, and a gourmet Mexican dinner. Armony will host Viva La Fiesta, an immersive night filled with music, authentic Mexican flavors, mariachi performances, and traditional dances.

• Oktoberfest

A taste of Germany, right here in Mexico! For Oktoberfest, Marival Emotions is hosting a Sausage and Beer Party on Friday nights (October 3, 10, 17) with a live rock band, while Marival Distinct will feature a Sausage Party and Beer Tastings on Saturday nights (October 4, 11, 18, 25).

• Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) on November 1 and 2

Come to the Riviera Nayarit in the first days of November to experience some of Mexico’s richest traditions during Day of the Dead. Marival Emotions will come alive with skeleton parades, traditional Day of the Dead altars, live performances, and a Glow Night celebration. Marival Distinct will feature skeleton parades, traditional altars, and a Mexican Ancestors’ Fiesta at Mozzamare Beach Club, complete with a Mexican buffet, specialty mixology, and a live pre-Hispanic show. Armony will present Beyond the Veil, an enchanting event with a traditional Mexican dinner and a folkloric show.

• Christmas

It’s the most wonderful time of the year in the Riviera Nayarit. Marival Emotions will delight families with special kids' activities and festive shows on Christmas Eve. Marival Distinct will welcome Santa’s arrival and offer a 4-course Christmas Eve dinner.
